Volunteer
Our greatest resource at CFLC is our volunteer family of friends. We are so thankful for those who serve and give to this life-affirming work! We have many opportunities available where you can help and bless our pregnancy community.
Now interviewing for volunteer opportunities. Training is provided for all positions engaging in client contact.

Consider joining the CFLC volunteer family:
Prayer Support: Pray daily for the Center and its volunteers.
Gift Box: Opportunities for service in this area include sorting through donations, laundering and repairing and folding baby clothes, placing items into current inventory, assembling layettes. We also need women to organize a yearly baby shower from their church/women’s group to help supply the new items for layettes.
Donation Pick-Up: A truck, van or large car is necessary. Pick up or delivery of items on an as needed basis.
Cleaning Used Baby Furniture: This much needed task can be done in your own home as time allows.
House Keeping: Keep our beautiful center clean. Responsibilities include vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash and cleaning bathrooms. These services need to be performed on a regular basis.
Office Support: Assist with day-to-day needs of the office, which include typing, filing, data entry, mailing, copying, collating, etc.
Receptionist: Responsibilities include answering phones, setting appointments, greeting clients and assisting clients with necessary paperwork. Other light secretarial jobs include filing, labeling, copying, etc
Client Advocate: This training is available through Colorado Family Life Center. Check with the Center for the next scheduled training. The purpose of the training is to teach skills of listening/communication, familiarize client advocates with accurate information about choices available to the client, policies and procedures, as well as helping them become comfortable with the client/client advocate relationship.
Support Group Leaders: Qualified individuals are responsible for establishing or building support groups in the following areas:
-Pregnancy & Nutrition
-Abstinence
-Parenting
-Abortion Recovery
Church Liaison: Volunteers in this capacity would promote awareness of CFLC at their home church. This would entail organizing baby showers for the Center, speaking to the pastors and congregation, and encouraging individuals in their church to become volunteers and/or donors.
Educator/Speaker: Volunteers in this capacity would speak in public settings promoting the mission and work of CFLC relating to Pro-Life and Abstinence Education. Opportunities include speaking in front of church groups, youth organizations, public and private schools (grades 7-12)
Fund Raising: Plan and organize fundraising events as approved by the Board. Grant Writing assistance is also much appreciated.
CFLC offers flexible times for you to contribute to this life-affirming work. Most of these opportunities involve a two or four hour time commitment on a weekly or monthly basis. If you have any questions regarding these opportunities, please call Annette Dotterer at 303-363-8999.
